It's hard to pick just 1, but Angel Densetsu is one of a few that made me laugh the most!

I will have to go mainstream and say Naruto and Fairy Tail.

Although technically not manga because it's Korean (minhwa?) Yureka.

From the ones that are finished, I's

I would say Blade of the Immortal is my favorite. The final volume will be released soon in the U.S. It's hard to believe I've been following this story since the nineties.

I haven't read much manga but the Uzumaki omnibus is just awesome. I want to get more stuff by Junji Ito or other horror manga. I also want to get that big Nausicaa omnibus because I enjoyed the movie a lot.

Bleach. Not so much so in that it's the best manga I've read, Kubo's pacing is horrendous and although his arts come a long way, he still has a tendency to fill half of his chapters with establishing panels, speed lines and smoke clouds but it's where everything began for me. I was addicted to Bleach the anime, when I finally caught up with it (around the Bountou arc or however its spelt) and I learnt it was all filler I moved over to the manga and the rest as they say, is history.

Honourable mentions though to Veritas (if that counts, being a manhwa) and to all the manga I've read because the anime was either badly paced, badly animated, or censored like Soul Eater, D-Gray Man, Tenjou Tenge, Eyeshield 21 etc etc

Shrug. People tend to lump them all together. We don't have enough a manwha section so...

I'm a huge fan of Hunter X Hunter even if the hiatus is unbearable sometimes.

I'm glad this topic rose to the fore, as while chatting with my G-D last night, I asked if she had interest in any Manga.
She's 12 and would be interested in any that relate to shows she has watched recently;
- MHA
- Fruits Basket
- Princess Mononoke
- other Ghibli titles
- Card Captor

are there others of similar ilk that might be recommended?
- she has watched Made In Abyss, could she handle the manga?

TYVM for any inspiration.
