Thanks, Hariseldon! I just changed the shipping speed for a preorder I had at Amazon.it and the shipping cost went from 10 Euro down to 3.9 Euro.

Thanks, Hariseldon! You always have the best posts! This is incredibly useful - I often see deals that pass on bc of the high prices. (Or I load up on titles to justify the high shipping prices.)

If you don't mind, could you say what that shipping option meant. I don't notice much, at least based on what I have on my watch list.

These were the two cheapest shipping options:

Spedizione Standard AmazonGlobal
(attualmente selezionato)

Standard (10 - 12 giorni lavorativi)

First one was 3.9 Euro, second was 10 Euro.

But do we know what the difference is as far as delivery agent (Ascendia/Royal Mail/other) and import duties?

I saw this on .fr a few days ago and on .uk today...
