^^ My Vol-9 arrived yesterday. I was waiting for some kind of price drop at Amz.ca and it finally dipped to $45 vice $65.

I'm finally getting caught up with Blade of the Immortal. I picked up 3 and 4 as they released but was only at the beginning of 2 at the time, in September I believe. It's a great read and keeps getting better.

I'm okay with this. I have two schools of thought about what this means in the end:

1 - if manga fails/isn't satisfactory with its eventual conclusion, in my mind (and maybe others) I can always think to myself, "Miura didn't do it, and I don't have to consider anything made after he passed away as canon or official or anything that he would have done if he was still around."

2 - But then, if this manga does end terrific, and does tell a fantastic story, then I'll be happy with it and can praise it as a great send up to Miura as well as a great nod to Miura and his family allowing such great hands to take over the franchise in his place.

So, it's kind of a win-win no matter how the manga ends. If it's bad, it doesn't matter. If it's good to great, I'll happy.

Not gonna lie I teared up when I saw the announcement this morning. I'm just glad we're getting anything. I would've been satisfied with an outline or description of how Miura intended for the series to end but this is even better.

I’m personally fine with how things are left with Miura’s final chapter. Happy for everyone who wants a definitive ending to Berserk, but I’m just not that interested in reading more through someone else’s eyes.

I received the Dark Horse HC Vol-10 a couple weeks ago. Curious to discover how they will integrate the post-Miura Vol(s).

3 volumes (6,7,8)of the Deluxe manga are the daily deal on RS, not sure how good $35 is for them

bullmoose always has them but 2 and 3 for 39.99 so it is decent and they have all of them plus 2 pre order ones.

The deluxe volumes will drop pretty low on Amazon if you're patient. Volume 10 is $26 right now for example. I paid $30 to $35 for most of the volumes last year.

Sadly, Amazoo Canuckland remains in full fleecing mode and the prices for both the Berserk series and BotI are still north of $60.
Vol-10 dropped to $54 a while back and I grabbed it then but holding out on the rest until they drop.
Same with Anime Blus. EVERY new release starts now at $65 for standard amaray, which I flatly refuse to pay...ever.
Obviously some people must be paying these prices though, which frustrates the hell out of me.

This should be the final deluxe volume for now. Volume 41 will be releasing in November and then we're caught up with Japan until whenever 42 comes out.

I pretty much expect all of my non-VIZ manga to get a never ending amount of delays. I already got notifications for Blade of the Immortal 7 and Colorless 2 getting pushed back. I only hope that Berserk Vol 41 doesn't get delayed, we're so close to release now and I can't wait to read the official translation.

Crunchyroll Store has the Berserker Armor Pop Up Parade figure in stock. Apparently you get a discount if you buy it while having a membership. It cost me $75.99 with free shipping. I waited to buy this one off of Amazon JP and they sold out within like 2 days and never restocked. Glad I waited because it would've been closer to $120 had I bought from them in November/December. The figure has already spiked in price on eBay.
