That's a really good deal! I think I paid around $90 for mine, which wasn't the cheapest, but had actual pictures and the coveted (To me at least) lisensor sticker.

She's getting a reprint as well, so supply should not be an issue. She should have a glittery lisensor sticker on the front of the box too. (I want to say Kadokawa, I think.)



This one is my favorite, since it is the only scale Mitty so far.

^^ TOM website lists "Manufacturer: Kotobukiya" (as does the pic of the box you provided).
Of note- the page does not contain the typical disclaimer that the product is 'licenced via UTC for USA/Canada only' so I suspect you are correct it will no doubt come with the sticker. Nice to see.
Mind: personally, the sticker is not a determining factor for me if I simply love a sculpt.

Correct, Kotobukiya manufactures the figure and the licsensor is Kadokawa. (Among others, I imagine gladiator fights over who gets to place the sticker.)

If the sculpt is most important to you, (Painting, especially the face, for me.), then I'd advise to look for the stickers. Back before I knew any better, I was buying a lot of figures from the "Shining" series (Wind, Ark, etc.) and the ones without or the "For sales outside Japan only" stickers almost always had casting issues, especially the hair. (Enough time wasn't spent cutting off the molding lines, so it looked like her hair had earrings, or just large goops of plastic.) For me, Kotobukiya is always somewhat suspect on QC. (Licensor sticker or not.) Alter, Alphamax, Daiki, Native, Max Factory, Hobby Japan, and Freeing are some of my faves.

But like I was saying before we got shouted down from whatever thread we were on, unless you have both figures next to each other, or know what to look for, (This is my curse, magnifying every picture on ebay...) you probably aren't going to be shocked.

(If you're sadistic, look over some of your figures on display and look for hair casting mistakes

Alas, the issues you raise make me now put suspect to a lot of figs but unless I buy directly from Japan (or a Japanese web-site) not sure what I can do.
TOM has been my principal go to, as at least they are forthright in identifying basic stats on the new figs they sell.
Mind, I doubt I'll become heavily invested in figs (went through that phase a couple decades ago) so I'll be very selective of ones I purchase and will no doubt seek guidance via this Forum.

Every fig I've come across is just so strikingly attractive to me that I'm sad money is the determining factor, heh heh.
Of all of her figs though, I adore this one the most. The dress of course is what makes it so special but I'm actually afraid to do much research on this game/ show in case I weaken and go purchase nuts...
