Sent Zavvi the following tweet, maybe they will notice if enough people retweet or tweet them happy about the HTTYD steelbook, and put the bug in their ear early for a Captain Marvel one.

Cool. The pre-orders are good to see, considering the 3D in the 3D trailer I saw in theaters looks like it's going to be strong 3D for HTTYDragon 3.

I went ahead and did the preorder for that one yesterday. I am not a steelbook collector so this one is perfect for me. And the price was good too.

I have been doing my preorders with amazon uk over the past year and a half so I figured it would be good to use zavvi again.

I also picked up The Great Wall 3D for $7.99 to make the $4.99 shipping worth while.

I enjoyed the first film, but the 2nd one not so much. The trailer for the 3rd looks promising for the story and especially the 3D.

Slightly ominous: Amazon UK preorders have been activated for the 4K and the DVD, but the 3D is still "currently unavailable".
Less ominous: there is no standard blu-ray edition listing, let alone activated.
Anyone's guess at this point, but everyone should sign up for an email notification on the product page to at least signal interest in the 3D edition.

The 3D pre-order at Amazon.it and zavvi is still avaiable.
Also avaiable at another german shop https://www.jpc.de/jpcng/movie/detai...t/hnum/8957516

I think this is the artwork we can expect for Zavvi's 3D Steelbook.
These images are of the Italian 2D Steelbook (Blu-ray + DVD) that I've just added to this site's database.

I had the 3D editions of the first two films sitting on my shelves for months (late to the game). Waited deliberately to watch them both this week, before seeing Hidden World when it comes out on the 6th here (hopefully IMAX 3D).
Saw the first one last night, really impressed both by the 3D (thanks Phil 'Captain 3D' McNally) and the film itself, can't wait to see the second one tonight and then re-watch both with commentaries / Animator's Corner activated.

Same here. But if 3's in 3D, I'll still buy it and find out

HTTYD 1, solid medium 3D and a great film. Part 2 felt like a TV episode to me because of the focus of where the story went. The 3D was good from what I remember.

Part 3 looks like a better story hopefully, and the 3D looks strong. I'll definitely see it for the 3D. If the 3D in the preview was mild, I'd probably pass. February 22, 2019.

Enjoyed both previous editions so looking forward to this third one, especially since it's still 3D.

Based on the 3D HTTY Dragon 3 trailer, I would be surprised if the 3D doesn't get close to matching the strong 3D of Madagascar 3 3D, Dreamworks' strongest 3D title so far.

Do you guys see a lot of 3D showings for this at your theaters? I only see one 3D showing at one time, everything else is 2D.

I saw this in 3D during the advanced screening, I felt it was pretty immersive and a worthy addition to the others.
