Default BD-RE 50 discs are now harder to get

Just a year ago, BD-RE 50 discs were widely available domestically here in the USA. Now the only ones sold domestically on Amazon are under a no-name brand called "Arita." The only way to get name brand ones now is to import them. BD-RE 25 discs are still widely available, as are BD-R 25, BD-R 50 and even BD-R 100 discs. If Blu-ray comes straight from the future, then why would it suddenly become more scarce?
