Better be safe than sorry. And people buying more discs can only be a good thing.
I am all for people buying discs even if motivated by fear from an unsubstantiated rumor so long as doing so does not cause them any hardship.

Delaying any purchase for any reason runs the risk of a title going OOP. We all better order our entire wishlists right now just to be safe.

Speaking of that HBO/BBC adaption of His Darkest Materials Season 1 is out 8/4. That was what the Golden Compass (2007) was based on. 1080P DTS HD MA 5.1. 460 mins Season 2 is in process. No review here yet.

I have to get back to watching that series. I enjoyed the film enough, but the first episode did not grab me. Good thing it's on HBO MAX.

The story is more involved/expanded, it moves slower.

Coming this fall

Disney only cares about themselves. They always have, and they always will.

And that makes them different from most other companies how? Or from most people for that matter?
