It's a pity that Sony did not support PS Vita, it had a huge potential.

I just bought one when I was over in Japan last month. I've only played a few games on it. Taiko drum master is my favourite so far. I downloaded a PSP game (Everybody's Golf 2) and it looks better than I remember it.

I made a short video of me buying it in Tokyo and unboxing it if anyone's interested. I decided to go for the Glacier White slim as I liked the look of it.

This is months late but I hadn't been in this thread for a while and well now that I saw this I can't resist the urge....

And yeah even if I am beyond horrible at rhythm games they tend to be among my favorites on Vita so had a blast with the Taiko games.
----------------------------

Still love my Vita despite the lack of Sony and Western support and still prefer collecting for it more than anything else so still been buying games on Vita over PS4 versions. Japanese support seems to be dying off with devs jumping to Switch so 2018 might be the end Thinking about that is what made me want to come back and revisit this section even if it never did get much attention. It isn't all doom and gloom (Yes I am a Russell Howard fan) though with some games like Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night still on the horizon

Hit the 300 physical mark in September which dwarves any previous handheld collection of mine since I had never fell in love with a handheld like I did with this and none even hit the 100 mark. Took some pictures back then for the collection thread on PSNProfiles but these are bit outdated now obviously since there have been games since September. Updated pics are a hassle so I save them for milestones since normally my other Star Wars Funko are in front of the Vita games too due to running out of space for Funko but not running out of the addiction

[Show spoiler]

Also pulled out what I could find of collector's edition boxes and stuff back then which I store elsewhere but couldn't find everything including what started it all with the box for the first edition bundle.

The DJ Max Technika Tune Limited Edition that was limited to 750 is the pride of my collection. Makes Limited Run Games look like large print runs

Finally decided to get my first Playstation Vita(lcd). Ordered on Ebay because of the 20 percent sale! Can't wait to check it out. Better late than never. Any recommendations on accessories and a screen protector?

I bought the PS Vita for myself for Christmas in 2013. The Vita is my favorite system even though I don't play with often.

I picked up a slew of Vita accessories when they went on clearance at Target many, many moons ago, hoping that I would pick up a Vita eventually; I never did.

I wanted a Vita to go with my two PSPs, but two things kept me from doing so: i) selection of games on physical media that appealed to me*, and ii) the exorbitant cost of proprietary memory cards.

* before I discovered Limited Run Games. I may have felt differently about acquiring a Vita had I known abot LRG earlier.

Does anyone have any recommendations on the best place to pick up a Japanese Import PCH-2000 Vita in the UK?

Thanks in advance.

Why not try Ebay? There is a lot of Japanese sellers on there selling them.

I personally bought mine from this seller (still waiting for it to arrive though haha)

Thanks, I ended up picking up a UK 2000 series as it was considerably cheaper and meant I could have it there and then

I bought the last copy at GameStop and I used a $5 certificate, so it was less than $14.

I haven't heard of this game until last night. Just happen to be looking at Vita games on their website.

Also includes a Blu-ray disc documentary and art book.

Since I commute about an hour back and forth every workday, my Vita is pretty much my main gaming system nowadays while I take the bus and subway.
