The movie is hilarious once they make it to the Titty Twister. Granted the first half of the movie isn't all that good.

Comedy, intensely subjective. Roll on a few years and most comedies just don't make you laugh....

It was a BLACK comedy that made me laugh out loud on a few occasions. Most movies, obviously or darkly comic, don't really raise too many laughs...

Yeah, but even Black Comedies are wry and cynical and comic in their bleak views on the human condition. I didn't get any of that from In Bruges. For a moment, I wondered if everyone was calling it a comedy because a little person was in the cast. Reservoir Dogs has several funny one-liners, but never in a million years would I call it a comedy.

I got that completely from In Bruges, the comedy comes from the situations and violent reveals of human reveals, both good and bad. You do raise a good point with Reservoir Dogs though, they actually have the same themes and values as well. But In Bruges is just a bit more bleaker, yet more silly, than Reservoir Dogs, which has humour in the characters interactions but the situation is deadly serious.
