Default decent inexpensive movie poster frames?

i just started getting some movie posters for my living room/ht. where can i get some decent frames that won't bleed me dry. the posters only cost about $15 a piece so i don't want to spend more than that on the frame. i'm cheap.

I use cheap wal-mart 24x36 frames - black plastic that is durable enough with a nice little design. $12 I think, each.

After reading many threads over at AVSF, I went with FrameUSA.com. They were highly recommended for good, inexpensive frames. I ordered 5 of the wooden poster frams, and they were pretty decent quality versus some of the junk being sold at Wal-Mart, FYE or Michael's.

No offense intended to JJxiv with my junk comment.

My wife won't let me buy the cheap stuff anymore -- LOL.

It has to be a wooden-frame and those run pretty steep, I think.

Michaels craft store is where I got mine. I have a bunch of movie posters that are 27x40, so I needed big frames.
Think they are $20 for the cheap ones and 40 for the nicer ones at that size.
you can get a 40% off coupon out of the san diego tribune on Saturdays or Sundays I cant remember, for one item per order.
might also try Aaron brothers as they specialize in art and framing.

Depending on the size, Michael's is a good place for selection and they always have coupons as well to make it even cheaper. I Bought some nice ones at target for like 20 bucks for my Planet Terror posters, but they are nicer metal ones. Also I think Bed Bath and Beyond has a pretty good selection too.

Those are some good prices. As soon as I can find the time, I'll finish setting up my shop and make my own. Until then, looks like I found a new source.

Yep. Michael's is where I got mine as well. Happened to be in the store when they were running 50% off all frames. Still wasn't cheap, but much easier to stomach.

That's where I've gotten mine, simple black plastic frame...still look pretty good. Just make sure they're not bent when you buy them.

Target occasionally has some nice ones for around $30

Thanks for the disclaimer, , but it's not me you're offending, it's Wally's World.

exactly...they are cheap but sharp. You have to sort through the stock because 75% of them are cracked/broken. Gotta love Wally World!

If you want a little better quality frames (but still for a reasonable price) The frames from the following link absolutely rock. I've ordered several times from this company and they have great service too. Don't let the cheap prices fool you, the quality of these frames is killer.

http://wholesaleposterframes.com/index.php

I'm also attaching a picture of my poster set up. The three frames on the left are from wholesaleposterframes.com.

I would highly recommend the "non-glare" covering. Even if you don't have a lot of direct light. The glare on the other ones is ridiculous.

Cossa, what were all the options you chose for those three frames. What profile frame did you pick, was it profile A, and what color black, satin or bright black, Love the posters by the way.
