Default Silent Hill: Book of Memories

So this got pushed back to May. Kind of sucks. Was looking forward to this. Anybody else getting this game?

I never really got into the Silent Hill games but recently I purchased Silent Hill 1 on the PS Store and am now crushing through it on my Vita.

I guess this delay will give me a bit more time to play through the series so I'll be caught up when this thing launches.

What is the exact order of the Silent Hill games?

I am interested it... but after the epic fails on Silent Hill: HD Collection and Silent Hill: Downpour, I am going to wait for reviews before I go any where near this game.

Can you download SH1 right to your Vita from the PS Store or do you need to download it on PS3 and transfer it over? I still have the PS1 disc but I'd download it from the store if I could play it on Vita.

I downloaded Silent Hill 1 on my PS3 and wasn't able to transfer it at all. I had to remote connect in order to play it.

I was under the impression you couldn't transfer over PS1 games to the vita.... yet.

I could be wrong though.

Correct. PSone Classics are not compatible (outside of Remote Play) with the Vita yet. No word on when.

I started this game yesterday. One thing that I do see a resemblance to Downpour is that your melee weapons (wood plank/metal bar) has a limited use to them. You can extend the life of those weapons if you find a toolbox to repair them. I do like this aspect because it requires a bit of strategy. The mailman from Downpour was also in this game.

This game doesnít feel scary. I think that it is because of the small screen and the 3/4 overhead game angle/view. There are lots of menu items to navigate through and upgrades to your character, too. I bought a backpack so I could carry additional items.

Levels are maze-like and you can easily get lost if you donít follow your map.

I am enjoying this game even though I have only finished one level.
