Its funny that Yahoo shows a Vita. Here in the states, we haven't had PSP games in years, whereas I recently bought a imported game that was made last year I believe.

I would have thought that they stopped selling PSPs a while ago.

America still gets PSP games but usually just either games that are localized from Japan or Sports games that feel like they have to be on every single system including on the dying systems. But they are usually download-only.

Well Japan was keeping PSP alive by releasing so many Visual Novels and RPGs on PSP with some music rhythm games. But Sony feels its time to just let PS Vita shine and let it get all of the Visual Novels and RPGs which it has done a great job of doing that so far.

Wow... 20 hours and I'm the first to bring up the irony used in the thread title?

"Sony pulls the plug on [a system that doesn't require being plugged in to operate]."

Yes but it does need said plug to charge which if it can't charge it will slowely and elegantly fade away and die.

I bought a brand new PSP for a back up on the cheap not that long ago.

Initial D:Street Stage is amazing and I always want to be able to play it.

I will buy another spare someday,if another one comes up on the cheap.

What a great little console!
