HDGoofnut, be sure to cover the aquarium before the shark scene comes on in Finding Nemo or else they may have a heart attack being that close to the screen.

These are excellent setup, would like to have the money and space to set them up. Mine is less impressive and I will display it when I have a few minutes to take some pics.

In the meantime, here is a link to an article about some great themed setups. I especially like this one for watching "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea."

Well, one I get the room completed I will be doing my 3D viewing on a 100" fixed frame 16:9 Black Diamond Screen, using a Mitsubishi HC5 (similar to HC9000) Lcos Projector.

When you reply, look at the icon with the blue Earth and the Link chain, click on it, then go through the prompts which asks you to locate it online or via your computer, select the image you want, then when it loads into the menu of uploads, select the ones you want to post here. I forget the exact details, but that's the idea of it.

Once you have your pictures, you can also use the spoiler icon around the IMG info to keep the thread more compact if you wish. No big deal though.

Default Best Blu-ray to test system ??

I have finally setup my Sony 520 AV Receiver, my Panasonic 310 Blu Ray player, and my 7.1 surround speakers, and I am wondering what Blu Ray disc you recommend to test the system with?

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance for responding.

I'm not sure what you have in your collection but if you have PIXAR's Cars on BD it will really put your system to it's paces (the racing scenes are just astounding, even Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby which is a comedy has fantastic sound), the racing effects just blew my away even on my non-HD Yamaha system.

Any of the newer blockbusters should do the trick.

Thanks for the suggestions. Also just purchased "Skyfall" and that lit the equipment up for sure. Gave the subwoofer a real workout too. Thanks again.

Way too many for me to list. But I will throw out that Hellboy II was one of the first 7.1 disks I listened too on my system. And loved it.
