I found free apps on Google Play, which count the number of steps you take. You can keep the phone in your pocket as you walk, and it'll show a rising number with the number of steps you take.
You can select goals, like 500 steps, 2,000 steps, or 10,000 steps. I've found these trackers to be really cool. It's fun to watch the numbers rise. The numbers motivate you to walk more, or do some other type of exercise, more. Exercising isn't the funnest thing in the world to do, but fitness trackers give you the motivation, which can definitely lead to better health if a person decides to. Do you use activity/fitness trackers? |
