I actually picked up Conker for the Xbox so I could consider handing off my N64 hardware - but oddly enough, it's edited on the X-box for content. It's either not as fun edited or I'm just not into replaying this title.

Much as I'd love to bust out Super Mario 64, Jet Force Gemini, Diddy Kong Racing, I'm kinda lazy about hooking it up.

Hmm. Maybe I'm not

My daughter still has her N64 hooked up. I used to like Goldeneye, Mario 64, Banjo & Kazooie, Blast Corps, and others (especially those made by Rare).

I don't have a N64 and certainly wouldn't buy one for that.

But,.... I would wonder about anyone who would..

There are many great reasons to own an N64. This is not one of them.

Mario was important because of the new "perfected" 3D...the game itself was just average.

DK 64 was much better.

But there are no excuses if you haven't played Ocarina of Time or Goldeneye.

Of course I played Goldeneye, just like everyone else and their mother. But I never played Zelda and I'm not ashamed of that...I just don't care about that franchise even though I know it's highly praised.

Played some of the NES one and didn't care for it. I just didn't find it engaging and haven't played one since. I recognize it is considered a very popular and well liked series and am not denigrating it, but nothing about any of the games have ever intrigued me

I love the original Zelda for the NES, but haven't been able to get into any of the ones since then. Call me old school if you must, but that one is the best.

Mario Tennis 64 is the greatest videogame ever made...that is my honest opinion. I wasted so many hours of my life in the 90's on that game. Playing three or four good humans in a doubles match is simply awesome. Nintendo screwed up the play controls when they released the Gamecube version.

Anyone with even a modicum of interest in tennis needs to play it and master the various styles of characters in the game. Luigi is the best to play with for beginners (think John McEnroe).

I forgot about the Rush games mj79 mentioned, I spent many an hour tracking down all the hidden whatchamacallits. And of course Ocarina of Time and the darker Majora's Mask, those were great as well...
