To make it easier to search Blu-ray.com members in Little Big Planet, I've created a new PSN account, named BLU-RAYdotCOM.

No matter what I, personally, think of you or your levels, you can have your PSN name hearted by BLU-RAYdotCOM.

I like the initiative lol. I created a level but you play it and some friends play it and it's great and than a few more people play it and you realize how broken yours really is. I'm not too far , i've got about 25 hearts left ( maybe less if my first level get put back after moderation)

I thought it was funny that the MGS story dealt with people creating trophy levels, etc. Pretty funny.

One word of advice if you are creating a level (something besides a trophy level.) Play it yourself many, many times. Go in and try and break it. Try to jump off platforms when you're not supposed to and see where you fall. Let go of a winch and see if you get stuck. Etc. etc.

It's very time consuming - but I find it surprising how many levels start and run into a character that falls over cause it's not glued to the ground (seems a bit sloppy), or loose my grip on a hoist and fall and can't go anywhere - or fly over a wall that I'm not supposed to and end up off the board.

Just some tips if you are trying to create a solid level. (And even after you do ALL of those things, ask for feedback, you'd be surprised how many other little details you've missed sometimes.)

When I made my level, I got people to try it at my house before I published it.
If you create the level, you obviously know what you need to do at every part, but someone else has no idea. You'll find improvement spots much quicker by watching someone else play.

If you don't have anyone to play it locally, you can always publish the level, then play it two player and let the other person do everything. Make notes of where he gets stuck, what needs to change etc, then change the level and publish it again.

Ya that's what I ended up doing. I got a few of my girl friends to come by and play the game and that's when I realized how broke / hard my level was lol. That being said, there was a few of my other friends who ended up playing it and broken it worst than that. lol

Okay so it's incredibly hard to search the levels. I have sent invites to all of you guys so I can find your levels. I'm not going thru 10 pages plus to find one level. They need to add a search string for a username or make sure the keywords work better when you search them.

-Hearted SecretAgentHam and both your levels. (every time i sing the secret agent man song... )

I'm glad they improved the searching a lot since the release, but I agree searching for strings is terrible right now.

There should be an "best match" result, and you should be able to specify whether you're searching for a level or an author.
I have no doubts they'll improve this eventually, so far all the major issues with this game have been addressed quickly.

I got over 100 hearts on my level pretty quick. People love the paintball gun. I only have 7 for myself though. I heart anyone I add to my friends list, but I am not sure they know how to heart me back.

Ya it's hard to get people to heart you.

It's easier if you have multiple levels that are popular, I noted in the description of each of my levels to try the others out and that I was in the process of making more. This seemed to attract more people to hearting me so they can check back later on what else has come out. Even with that though, I only have 130 hearts on my character.

BTW I got a clanmate who is big into this game, and has created 3 very nice levels.. his name is BorrowedTime and I am sure he will do the same for you all, and his levels are actually good.

I was really tempted to partake in one of these heart me threads. I had made about 3 levels and collectively only got about 6 player hearts. I was like **** THIS I QUIT, but I'm glad I stuck it out cause it felt so good when I hit the magic 30. Especially since I'm not very creative at all either.

you dont even know how often i hear that song over the mic when i play COD or R2. lol. i have the same Screen Name on my xbox as well and the same thing happens when i play halo and gears of war. as for the name being a pop culture reference, its not. i was just trying something creative and came up with that lol.
