The lower the box office $$$, the better the film 1. Following $48K ($6K budget!!) 2. Memento $25M 3. Prestige $53M 4. Insomnia $67M 5. Interstellar $188M 6. Dunkirk $190M 7. Batman $200M Reason is that the more Marketing Executives are involved in your film, the crappier the end product. Same reason why a great painter is not a great salesman. He's great at art, not business and markets. Once a salesman shows up and starts telling him to change his painting, he's no longer engaging in art. OF course, there is a scale involved as every film has some "business" aspect, but in terms of that scale, the lower the budget, the less the businessman is dictating to the painter what to do. |

Honestly, I may prefer Lost World to the Original (kind of like how Temple of Doom may be my favorite Indy) |

New Blade Runner was big disappointment. I liked the OST and it did at least look good (not stunning though) but i found the film to be a bore and to me it feels like this is going to be yet another film that no one remembers 10 years from now. Even the best part that was the interraction with the MC and the AI wasn't all that well done and what else is there really to this movie? There's even all kind of stupidites like lack of cameras or security in general on police station.
And what really pissed me off was that use of the track from the first movie at the end. This movie did not earn that. |

A Quiet Place starts off good but it gets progressively cheesy, mawkish, and predictable as it goes along, ultimately achieving maximum cringe with that last shot. It was hard for me to restrain my laughter when the credits started rolling. It's no more sophisticated than the typical Hollywood horror movie, it just has a silent gimmick to go with it.

Gods of Egypt is perfectly fine popcorn escapism. Big on vision, little on cerebrum. What it also is from head to toe is pure fantasy. Nothing about it is based on fact. It has more in common with Lord of the Rings than Cleopatra(ok bad example). So complaints of cultural innacuracies and casting no-no's is silly...

The prequel trilogy is better than Eps 7 and 8 and RO.
The Lost World: Jurassic Park is actually pretty decent. It's a stronger film than Jurassic World. |

Agreed though I do want to give Vertigo another shot. I've heard from quite a few people that it gets better with repeat viewings.

Neither of these characters have much screentime but Tyrell to me is much more memorable because his character at least has significance. Wallace feels more like a character that is there to just to have big baddy.
