Based on what is Brazil better? The directing is out of character and while a great film, it's clearly not as interesting or layered as Fincher's.

Terminator has substance, but Blade Runner has more of it.

But films are not just themes, but also fun rides and T1 perfectly does that. It executed a fairly standard storyline with great action scenes and great directing.

A thrilling, dark and grim movie with a neon effect that i can rewatch over and over without being bored.

James Cameron > Ridley Scott.

To be clear, I think the 80s is one of the best decades for film, I just find a lot of the comedies from the era weak, or I feel I've outgrown them. You can say that about every decade though.

Revenge of the Nerds doesn't belong in that list. It is a masterpiece in every conceivable way. Despite the "woke" perspectives that seem to ignore the most powerful message of the movie which is about the fight against racism and bullying.

I've never seen it, but I recently ordered the triple pack (the two films plus the mini-series or something???) and I low-key can't wait to see Annihilation in particular. I watched the first five minutes of it on YouTube to get a taste and I was STUNNED.

I never said that the film is bad, but I simply enjoy watching the Terminator films a lot more, on replay value.

Not exactly. This is my list of my favorite directors but I don't think they are actually the best. Like, I enjoy Fincher more but yeah Kubrick is better.
