Blade Runner either is not close to Zodiac or Se7en and i love it.

It's better than Fight Club though.

Based on what is Brazil better? The directing is out of character and while a great film, it's clearly not as interesting or layered as Fincher's.

it's one of my favorite ones too. It actually becomes interesting to know that he wasn't the villain at the end.

Terminator is just more fun to watch, and more thrilling from start to finish.

Blade Runner is amazing but not nearly as rewatchable.

And i won't even talk about T2... because it's T2.

Speak for yourself, bruh! According to Letterboxd, it's my most watched film between mid-2016 and now.

Terminator has substance, but Blade Runner has more of it.

But films are not just themes, but also fun rides and T1 perfectly does that. It executed a fairly standard storyline with great action scenes and great directing.

A thrilling, dark and grim movie with a neon effect that i can rewatch over and over without being bored.

James Cameron > Ridley Scott.

To be clear, I think the 80s is one of the best decades for film, I just find a lot of the comedies from the era weak, or I feel I've outgrown them. You can say that about every decade though.
Revenge of the Nerds doesn't belong in that list. It is a masterpiece in every conceivable way. Despite the "woke" perspectives that seem to ignore the most powerful message of the movie which is about the fight against racism and bullying.

I've never seen it, but I recently ordered the triple pack (the two films plus the mini-series or something???) and I low-key can't wait to see Annihilation in particular. I watched the first five minutes of it on YouTube to get a taste and I was STUNNED.

It's literally one of my favorite comfort food movies. It's a camp masterpiece. I adore it.

Personal preference and perspective is the only thing that’s challenging and interesting about art criticism and critique.

I still remember going to see it at the theater in the mall and playing MK3 in the arcade before the showing and then just laughing my ass off for the next 90 minutes at how awesome the film was.

In my teens, I'd watch it once a month. Now, I watch it 3 or 4 times a year.

Not exactly. This is my list of my favorite directors but I don't think they are actually the best. Like, I enjoy Fincher more but yeah Kubrick is better.

01. Martin Scorsese
02. Steven Spielberg
03. Francis Ford Coppola
04. Christopher Nolan
05. David Fincher
06. Quentin Tarantino or David Cronenberg
07. John Carpenter
08. James Cameron
09. Ridley Scott
10. Sergio Leone

Did you ever change your vote on it or still your favorite film since your teens?

You're telling me Nolan isn't at the top of your list? This is fake news.
