I'm always tempted by Millcreek but I'm just not willing to invest in yet another streaming service which has absolutely zero backing by any large companies but is instead based on making multi movie collections of mostly public domain films and stuff that the rights holders charge virtually nothing for.

Yes a lot of it is good garbage that has entertained me many a time but they are like the fifth company that has come into being exclusively on the premise of selling these collections and none of the others are still around. I'm happy to buy the actual dvd collections from time to time but not streaming media which is almost guaranteed to vanish within a year or two.

I love me some public domain cheese, but they need to be UV/MA. Public Domain may be a niche category, but this company is already catering to it and there IS an audience....
