If I bought 2 extra shelves, how many Blu-rays do you think I could fit on each shelf?
I think you popped the wrong link. Which Biilly's -- either link or just let me know the measurements and I can give you an estimate

Oh geez! Edited with the right link, but this is the IKEA BILLY bookcase I plan to purchase: https://m2.ikea.com/us/en/p/billy-bo...neer-10323349/

Well the shelves are 14 inches wide and the average bluray case is 13mm. So that is about 27 movies for each shelf. Easy enough to figure out.

Depending on the case sizes and how tight you want to pack then 25-27 per shelf is pretty reasonable -- 30 is possible if you only have the
11-12mm cases, but that's pushes the limits. I can fairly easily put 30 of the single disc Twilight Time cases on a shelf and I could probably squeeze 31 and maybe 32 is I absolutely had to. 8 shelf levels per unit is pretty easy with the wood shelves. I can do 10 levels in a similar ht unit with the glass shelves

That also assumes you don't want to do a doubling with front/back row -- which is possible and have the cases right at the front edge

I'd also recommend adding some doors. The Morliden ones look rather nice for media storage and are customizable.

Like these? Would they fit the shelves I picked out?

Yes, that's the one.

I've got wallpaper I like that matches my room decor in mine affixed to the particleboard backing. You can have just the glass, black side, white side or whatever you want to put in.

I just wish they made matching doors for the height extension units. The Oxberg doors do, but they are nowhere near as nice.

Will you post pictures? Id love to see your set-up. The wallpaper sounds like a great idea. I saw a picture of something similar (I think) on bookcases on Pinterest.

Don't have a photo account I can share on here, sorry.

But pretty much anything you can paste to the backing that comes with the doors can be used.
