Great deal but I won't be baited by the SD in the event it gets re-released as HD.

IMDb says it was shot on video, so I probably wouldn't count on that.

THEATRICAL!

Usually the differences between cuts are minimal, but the Director's Cut has a ton of footage that absolutely belonged on the cutting room floor.

Including this horrible scene w/ the townspeople that was clearly cast w/ local community players

Yep, I was just talking about this in another community this morning.

Older shows shot on film can usually be converted to HD, if the studio wants to make the effort to re-scan them. Older shows shot on videotape (which includes almost all multi-camera sitcoms) are pretty much locked at that resolution.

FYI for those that took advantage of that "Cheers: The Complete Series" sale for $20. I haven't checked all the episodes, but Season 4 Episode 1, the debut of Woody Harrelson's character, the HD file was clearly generated from a SD source. Doesn't matter whether you stream or download it. Reported it to iTunes Store support for what it's worth. They opened a case on this and are looking into it.

I think I read somewhere that the master for that episode has been "lost" somewhere

It's shame as it's an important episode.

Jack Black has done too much good in this world to be confused with Josh Gad. Please.

Was Perfect Strangers and Cheers the rare exception? Are there others from the 80s/90s?

So I noticed that if you change the "sort by" of the Free Full-Length Episodes (in the TV shows section of the iTunes store), from "Name" to "Release Date" to "Best Sellers", you end up with different titles. Does anyone know if there's a full list out there of available free full length episodes? Did a Google search and wasn't helpful, so I figured someone here might know of a Google doc out there that someone's compiled and kept up to date...

Does either version of The Patriot (2000) give access to both cuts of the movie? I see the theatrical cut gives 4K.

I donít see the theatrical as an extra with the extended cut
