Good way to get the digital copies for the UK 3D movies I've bought over the years when they weren't available in the US.

update...looked for the 4 UK 3Ds I have without digital copies with not so good results.

Good Dinosaur - No DC available
Jungle Book(2016) - No Locations Found
Inside Out - No Locations Found
Alice Through The Looking Glass - 46 Miles away
I'm sure YMMV

I'm not 100% sure, but you sign up, sign in and pick up at a kiosk near your house I believe WestMan?

Yep, that's pretty much it. Then you just have to hope there's a box near you with the code you want. Apparently none of the 30+ boxes in my city have any of the codes I'd want.

The site is really vague. Are these Disney Digital codes that you can redeem in iTunes , VUDU, etc?

Nice, I think I can use my Redbox Card aka Redbox gift cards that’s been on my account. I don’t have my regular credit card attached. It looks like I need to attach it to proceed, I'm not sure. I wish I didn’t have to and codes were emailed but it’s a start. Anyone else buy a code using their gift cards?

It's my first time really using Redbox to reserve to buy something. I ordered Planes, Maleficent and King Arthur Legend of the Sword blu-ray last night and picked it up today at 9:30am. I retrieved Planes and King Arthur but Maleficent didn't come out as it said to find it another location. Can things sell out if you don't pick it up ASAP?

I looked the Transactions History and Maleficent isn't there anymore, so I guess I didn't get charged since it was canceled. I'm just happy I was able to use my gift card to buy both digital and selected blu-rays. Some movies and no games can't be bought with a gift card. Anyway, the digital copy code is basically the slip inserts found inside Disney movies.

I glanced at this. Picked a movie at random (Moana) to see what the code price is ($7.99 for this one). Going to checkout shows that the only kiosks in my home zip code are at least a half-hour out of my way; same for zip of my job. Not convenient. Bleh.

It's the same slip of paper you get when buying the retail disc(s).

Do any Blu-ray come with digital codes ? Are the Blu-ray sealed retail with case or resell of disc only ?

Just picked up Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 Digital for $9.99. Redeemed HDX on Vudu.

Better than $19.99 on Vudu.

Mines weren't sealed. I think they're the same as the ones you rent, just discs no digital copies. Only sealed ones were the Disney digital copies.

I had a few good experiences purchasing codes (Inside Out and Jungle Book) but one bad one:

I'd recommend not purchasing Iron Man 3 if you see it. My code was for SD, even though there wasn't any indication on the purchasing screen. I was disappointed, so I contacted Redbox customer support to let them know that I thought they should indicate if the code is for HD or SD and he just said that they had no way of identifying the code. He apologized, but said that there was nothing he could do about it. Since Iron Man shows up in SD on all providers, I feel a little bit ripped off since I never would've purchased the SD version. I definitely won't be buying any more Redbox codes.

As of 11/14/17, SD codes will redeem as such and not upgrade to HD anymore. Anything redeemed prior to that date was grandfathered in and will remain in HD despite the glitch last week of everything being downgraded to SD.
