One of them would already be a huge get, but if they can nab BOTH guys? Epic.

My guess is that Tony Khan is thinking that deathmatch wrestling has a lot of fans and they might not watch AEW. Let's get a deathmatch legend on our show and they'll watch the show to see him and, if we do our job, they'll like what they see and watch us every week. It makes good business sense.

It's the same reason that bands want the opening slot on the big concert tours. They play to 20,000 strangers and, if they do their job right, some of them become fans.

I disagree. I don’t think it makes good business sense. The idea of pro wrestling is to attract the widest audience possible and death match “wrestling” I’m sure turns away way more fans than it attracts. Most people aren’t interested in turning on their tv to see a dead eyed crackhead mutilate himself. Having him described as a professional wrestler on national television only serves to embarrass the wrestling business.

Nick Gage? He came across like a piece of shit on that DSOTR episode so whatever. Theres too many gimmick matches now on a regular basis so the "allure" of a deathmatch guy coming in is like ehh.

Daniel Bryan coming in would be great but I don't see Punk coming in.

Nick Gage will be "wrestling" in front of more fans than his entire career combined next week. We can only hope he's sober enough to follow directions this time and not go off the deep end again like he did with Arquette.

apparently from what Brian Alverez said Tony bought out Rosa's NWA Contract so she could be in AEW more.

Goddamn.

I mean, she's worth it for sure. But you don't hear about promotions buying out contracts.

Rosa with MPW has helped out AEW a good bit. Love me some Thunder Rosa.

David Arquette says the neck cut was the fault of both people in the ring. Everything that happened after that was his fault. Here's the proof.

I watched You Cannot Kill David Arquette recently and it all lead up to this event and itís well worth a watch because it puts the Dark Side of the Ring episode in to perspective. David seems like a very troubled man who just wants to do something he loves but has forever been ruined for him.

Man I sometimes wish the internet didn't exist. To be fair I do avoid the dirtsheets so most of the news I get is from here

I sort of knew of Punk from TNA and ROH. Seen very little of his WWE work. It was just hard to stomach some of his opponents in that time, just not a fan of a lot of the people in that time.
Loved his look and promo work though.

More sources including AEW Facebook page are now stating Punk has officially signed and is 100% debuting at the All-Out Chicago event.

Hopefully its a contract like deal similar to what Lesnar had with WWE where he only shows up every now and then. Too many people being overexposed on a regular basis. Having said that I'll lose my shit if/when I hear cult of personality play

I just hope they don't lame out and play another song or theme for him, it better be Living Color!

WWE seems to have a thing with intentionally destroying over ring entrance music these days, and replacing it with the lamest crap possible i hope AEW doesn't start the same trend, some things just don't need fixing!
