I don't mind that it's a double feature with an MSRP of $9.98 (!), but damn, that cover art is hideous:

Hopefully this isn't indicative of what Sony is giving to Mill Creek. Kind of curious if they have better access to titles and those are the ones Mill Creek actually CHOSE, or if their deal is just limited to crap. But if this is all Sony is giving up, WTF are they doing with their own schedule of catalogue titles?
None of those titles are Sony. The Sony double features are Hostel 1+2, and Vertical Limit/Stealth.

A few more forthcoming Blu-ray double features that Mill Creek has Sell Sheets created for but the corresponding site page isn't yet active to know what the release date may be (the sell sheets do not list them).

Billy Bathgate / Blaze
The Color of Night / Playing God
The Doctor / Stella
The Good Mother / Angie
Mafia! / The Crew

Good to see that Angie, which was once listed with a release date last summer on Amazon.ca, finally appearing. Gives some hope that the others might eventually also.

Sell Sheet images in spoiler.

Yeah, Puppet Masters is a personal favorite of mine. Invasion of the Body Snatchers "borrowed" many of the original source novel's ideas.

I'm beyond thrilled that DEEP RISING is coming to Blu-ray but that very low MSRP has me worried a little. I hope it's a good transfer. PUPPET MASTERS is a great choice for a double feature. I assume this is a single disc release.

My biggest concern is that Deep Rising might not be 5.1. That's one title that the lack of 5.1 might actually deter me from upgrading, as it would be an upgrade in video only and a substantial downgrade in audio, which is half the experience for that particular film.

Id like to meet the morons who decide how to market these "double features". They are slapping 2 films together with no common connection. Ridiculous. Good thing for custom covers if you hate one of the 2 films.........

Based on the combined running time and the "Witness firsthand never-before-seen footage" in the Mill Creek synopsis, it seems likely to be the director's cut.

In case it is at all useful, it appears Mill Creek has removed the listings for 25 of the Hollywood / Touchstone releases. Everything released last year other than Indian Summer, Camp Nowhere and the Ernest Double Feature.

Guessing it means nothing or perhaps they will start multi-title releases for them/the ones originally released individually.

I wonder how much longer they'll sit on Oscar and Summer of Sam. Mill Creek is doing a great job with the Disney titles, so I'm more than ready for the next batch.

Yeah, I don't like the pairings here (why not Color of Night and Bathgate together, for instance, since they both have Willis?) but I'll probably get at least Deep Rising and Life With Mikey.

Anyone pick up the Color of Night or Life with Mikey sets and can comment on quality? Both are guilty pleasures of mine, especially Life with Mikey. "Sunboist cookies light up my day!" Pure MJ Fox cash grab.

It's the R-rated Director's Cut which is different from the Unrated Director's cut.
