It was fun to go back and watch a Spiderman film where the lead character didn't have access to an AI who could call down killer robots from outer space, and wasn't wearing a "doc oc" style 4 armed spacesuit.

They are both Spider-Men, just because MCU's Peter Parker got help from Tony Stark doesn't make him less committed. The other Spider-Men were just solving problems on New York, MCU's Spider-Man went to Germany, space and was "MIA" for 5 years. If i returned and found out to be presumed dead i'd defend my life even if i had to kill to survive. That's raw humane.
