I own Inseminoid on Blu-ray as part of the region free Powerhouse/Indicator Norman J. Warren set, but I’ll probably still grab this on general principle, since I have double copies of the other Warren titles by way of the Vinegar Syndrome releases. Hopefully, we’ll have some different extras.
This is my least favorite Warren film, but there’s still plenty of fun to be had. Last edited by The Great Owl; 12-03-2019 at 01:05 PM. |

I should've listened to my instincts and held off on that Indicator set. I only grabbed it for Inseminoid and I kept telling myself "there's no way this film is coming out in the UK only". I may or may not unload that set since I already own copies of all the NJW films on it - I guess it all depends on the extras.

I, too, have the Indicator set, however, I look forward to seeing how they handle this release. The Indicator disc has some nice extras, so I wonder if they will try to port all of them over (maybe minus the British Entertainment History Project interview as it's the second part to a larger one, maybe they'll include both parts?)...anyway, I'm sure they'll try to get some new interviews and all that.
And I doubt they'll do a new scan, so it'll probably be the same, which from what I remember looked pretty darn good. Here's the Indicator extras for quick reference: [Show spoiler] I am happy to see this getting a release though in the US. |

"Inseminoid" is a British sci-fi movie that was released in the U.S. under the title "Horror Planet." It was one of the so-called "dog of the week" films on Siskel & Ebert. The most disgusting thing about the film was when the lead actress gave birth to an alien. A cheap rip-off of "Alien." The ending of the film was abrupt and stupid.
