Looks like we now have a teaser trailer for They Shall Not Grow Old.

In conjunction with BFI London Film Festival premiere, Trafalgar Releasing will be simultaneously screened in 2D and 3D to cinemas and special venues across the UK, followed by a special post screening Q&A with Jackson, hosted by film critic Mark Kermode.

Just finished this in the theatre. Amazing footage and stories by the soldiers of the time. Made it feel so much more real than anything I’ve seen about The Great War. Thoroughly recommended for any age group, though I noticed most of those in my theatre were grandparents with their grandchildren I presumed, not really any groups of young men or women or young couples. Will definitely pick this up on Blu-ray

If it comes out in 3D but region B only, that will probably force me to finally buy an all region player!

This released in 2D and 3D, I saw it in 3D and thought it was pretty good for 100 years old footage...

Hi steedeel,

If it's not available to us in 3D, like Elvis said, "I'll have a blue Christmas without you".

I'll pick it up for sure even if it's "B" only. I know someday I'll be forced to buy a region free player. Already have one "B" 3D...never seen it. So it can sit in my collection till the day to buy comes.

Hi Steedeel

On the other hand, because Peter Jackson put so much effort into it, I would gather his long-term intent would be for it to be on 3D Blu-ray.

Hi Kenbar,

Been pricing all regions. Least expensive is about $190. Don't know how many non region A discs I really would like to have. One is Snow Queen 1. There is also a restored full version of the Greta Garbo silent The Joyless Street. After that, have to see.

I really doubt this will show anywhere near me, here in Podunkville. Really hoping for a 3DBD release.
In the meantime I have this...

If you like all things 3D, as I do, check it out.
