And just when I finished watching SEED Destiny, that thing appears. In case any of you need a reminder, this little bit of SEED actually takes place during SEED Destiny, in the early part of the first season, when the Junius 7 space colony remains are pushed into a decaying orbit and then hit the Earth's surface in massive pieces after being broken up by weaponry at the last minute. Unfortunately, Rightstuf apparently didn't fit this into the SEED/SEED Destiny dubbing budget, so it will remain undubbed and in Japanese. It has no real connectivity to SEED or SEED Destiny and is a "Side-Story", like the various SEED and SEED Destiny manga that take place concurrent with the two CE works, so only buy it if you are a completest or fanboy.

It has a rather different, more mature feel than Seed or Destiny so I'd recommend it if you like Gundam in general, even if you're not a fan of those shows.

It's just an upscale and wasn't recomposited/re-animated like Seed and Destiny though.

In this distribution deal, RightStuf has zero say in what gets dubbed or not, it's all on Sunrise. The license is held by Sunrise, not RightStuf, they're merely just the distributor.

UK version Seed Destiny delayed again not coming till December now.

Anyone think there's a chance Seed Destiny is going to be on sale during this BF period? I know they are fairly new, didn't know if in the past Gundam Sets have gotten cheaper quicker.

The limited edition set has been on sale two or three times? I think the lowest was $150?

If you want the lowest price possible on rightstuf gundam releases, 50% of MSRP is probably the best you'll get as it's hit that a few times. 40% off MSRP is pretty common throughout the year.

Damn, I'd definitely jump at 150. I'll have to keep an eye out. I added them to my wishlist, but any way to be alerted when it drops, or do wishlists send alerts?

Honestly no clue how the wishlist stuff works. But they're always on those right stuff mega sales. If you get the emails from right stuff, they're usually listed on there when they're on sale.

The last time they had the 50% off msrp was during black Friday/Christmas, so just keep your eye out.

The Gundam sets will go down to $100 when they are on final clearance or RS just needs to move some stock, but $140-$150 in a sale is as good as you'll get for the majority of sale offerings.

You can import the English friendly 4K if you're into 4K. Otherwise, I'm sure it'll hit sometime next year.

Was there any comparisons made between Hathaway's Flash blu ray vs 4k? I'm tempted to get the 4k but anime on 4k hasn't really blown me away to put it mildly (in 90% of the cases I ended up with arguably less good picture). On top of that it's very barebones vs the blu ray which comes with a booklet and slipcover.
