Fair enough, I think that thread contains numerous titles to place on your initial list. btw The UK's Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince - nice slip cover....shame about the 'orrible pair of non-peel stickers that took over 20 mins to fully remove! Grrrr...

The way I see it, a slipcover is opened on the top and bottom so you can slide your Blu-ray up and down.
Whereas a slipcase only has one side open so you can slide your Blu-ray sideways.

many collectors use the term "slipsleeve" for the typical open ended sleeves.
imo this is a better term, but that's just my opinion.

Sleeve has this flimsy connotation to it. Case is quite general and can apply to single-amaray or thick collections.

There is no difference. Some people say cover, some say case.

On a side note, this list is kind of pointless because they only sell slipcases for 1-2 months from release and then stop...

I would have thought a cover was something that slides over the top of the blu-ray which can be removed from top or bottom and a case that allows you to slide the blu-ray's from the side?

Not that it matters.

Fair enough. You must agree, though, that cover feels more like something you just slip off whereas a case surrounds the content, right?

Not really. Many people like myself collect slipcovers and would like a definitive list.
