Tempted by the Escape from New York but looking into it it seems the StudioCanal is pretty much the same (at least with Dolby Vision). Anyone have strong opinions?

Is Dead Zone any good? I like Cronenberg but not Stephen King.

Yes. It is good. Mind, I'm shocked at this statement

Great film. When I bought this a year or so ago it was the most badly damaged case I've ever received from any Amazon's. They gave me a refund but it could've only happened by somebody stomping on it. Posting it in a shitty mailer didn't help.

German media book is good too.

Yeah, & the accompanying Blu-ray will be region A locked. There's a Blu-ray only release in Germany on March 3rd, that'll do for me.

Yes and Cronenberg makes it his own, like Kubrick did.

I love Stephen King though

I should have been clearer. I don't actively dislike him. Just a bit indifferent I guess. Sorry. Meant no offence.

I can't approve of Amazon staff stomping on items before sending them out. Only cex staff are apparently entitled to do that.

Don't disrespect tradition e.g. Morris dancing, clog dancing, and Amazon stomping!

Sorry... off topic question. How does the french set look like? Four individual UHD cases, perhaps?

Yes, four individual slim 2 disc case inside a 6 sided flimsy box (not a slipbox!)

How does the outer box open to get the movies out if 6 sided?

You stick your thumb down the side in order to pull out the flap which usually tears because it's all so flimsy.

Tip*

Use a dining knife/ flat bladed knife and slide it down the side and gently pry open. After doing this several times the flap loosens up and becomes easier to open without tearing anything

Using the flat side of the blade carefully crush each pea, one at a time, turning your fresh peas into a plate of 'mushy peas'...then use a fork, knife or spoon to consume- yum!!

It’s coming out on 4K in France and Germany (steelbook/mediabook).
