My order took a few days to ship. Once it shipped though. Wow. From Japan to my front door in a business day. Gotta love it!

I own these already. Purchased them again just now though. Going to gift these to a friend.
Nice price, looks like the price went back up for the seasons I want 4 and 5.

Season 5 = 4801 yen
season 4 = 3499 yen

Will have to be patient to see if I can get closer to the prices you got.

I have been rewatching season 1 lately and I wonder how many errors like this have shown up across the series run.

Is it designating the other items as not eligible for U.S. shipping?

In short, it said those items wouldnít deliver to my address (tried the box too as well as a different seller). Didnít specify if it was bc of USA or not.

If you're ordering from Amazon Japan then make sure they are offered by them and not one of the third-party sellers, usually the main reason for items not shipping when ordering from foreign Amazon stores.

Alternatively check out CD Japan.

That sounds like it would be the reason if so.

Edit - thanks bra

Now watching the last season. (Live Another Day)
So happy i ordered the first six season from Japan. What amazing ride. Of cource the seasons after, six look far better and they are shown with uncompressed sound.

Quote of the day and I concur! The last season of 24 was Live Another Day. If you don't want to ruin your rewatch of this don't watch that other season (which shall remain nameless) after Live Another Day.

Hell yeah! And LAD was a fantastic season, too. No season seems to be complete without a “Jack Bauer takes out an entire room full of people” moment and LAD had one of the best ones. Legendary!

Speaking of said nameless series though, I still find it quite pathetic that Carlos Bernard was in that one and they never got him back for LAD considering he didn’t appear in much in that period of times and it’s probably the last we will ever see the proper 24. Jack and Tony have unfinished business and LAD was a good opportunity. That 3 minute short called “Solitary” looked interesting and then, nothing.

I just finished Season 5 on my rewatch. I think I have revised what season was my favourite, from Season 1-5. It was always Season 5 but it was such a chaotic season that actually seemed like a bit of a mess, that I now find Season 3 or 4 to be overall better, not that Season 5 wasnít vintage 24. Season 6 next and I canít wait to watch it again.

And something I had no idea existed until now was the small 7-10 minute little Prequels to Season 4, 5 and 6 that can be found on YouTube. Hearing Jack drop the F bomb somehow sounded so out of character for him.

These are so expensive now on Amazon Japan, at least compared to what they were going for in the summer based on the screenshot image posted a couple pages back.

Anyone know why it was so cheap just a few months ago? A lot of the seasons have jumped from about $15 per season to about $40.

Who knows why. Prices can sometimes change a few times a day. That's why I was always checking. And thank God Amish Paradise posted the lower prices earlier. I picked up seasons 1-6 and Redemption for roughly $130.00 including shipping to California. Very happy that I waited until a decent price, even though waiting was pretty hard. My wallet appreciated it

Waiting for a price drop is always tricky. I didn't want to risk these sets to go out of print and got 1-6 plus Redemption about 1 and 1/2 year ago. Of course, when the price eventually dropped, I wasn't pleased about it. Now it's back up again, oh well...

I never regret a purchase if the given item is available at a later date for less. No regrets at all. If I pull the trigger the juice was either worth the squeeze for me at the time or it wasn't. Tomorrow is promised to no one. I just commit and don't look back. Spent far more on Seasons 1-6 and Redemption when they were originally released on DVD than I did purchasing these Japan HDTV broadcasts on Blu-ray. And back in the day I was bringing in half the income I am now. Those who weren't around during the early years of the DVD format don't know how good they have it.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to convey (ok, not in so many words
I bought these sets as soon as I found out about them, cause I really WANTED them, and I wasn't taking any chances. I don't do that very often (I'd be broke if I did), but I do make exceptions.
