Weird, i didn't notice any little black bars. I guess i was too engrossed in the movie.

It depends on TV overscan, sometimes that eliminates the little black bars you get on 1.85:1 presentations.

Or --- they're so small one might not notice them, especially if the top and bottom edges of one's display is also black.
