Yeah i had to check I typed that lol, that's an exaggeration true and I think revealing all of his alcohol and personal problems actually protected his credibility quite a bit, although that does make me sound very cynical. It certainly got him out of the line of fire, as did stepping away from the role. Considering all of the personal issues he says he had whilst making those movies, it sounds like he does regret doing them as his head clearly wasn't in a great place and if stress made him hit the bottle more, that's not good.

Can we just agree that it is POSSIBLE that a live-action group-film of Justice League just may not ever work. To me, there is just something about the DC characters that do better on their own than in a group.

Tim Burton Batmans - Great
Schumacher Batmans - OK to Bad (more characters added the worse it got)
Christopher Nolan Batmans - Amazing
Man of Steel - Good
Batman V Superman - Yeesh...
Wonder Woman - Goodish
Justice League - Barf

I'm excited to see what will happen POST-SNYDER. I can't stand him. And I am really hoping that The Batman will be a standalone, I think Batman works best alone, or with the help of Alfred and Robin or Nightwing. The recent Batman incarnations got 1 thing wrong - they totally underused Alfred. Also, Batman isn't a murderer. Moving on.

Remember when Batman Begins production title was Intimidation Game and people were saying wtf? Good times.

I watched a YT video where they were talking about an "insider" saying a second suit was in the movie.

I don't like BvS and JL, but Affleck is my favorite Batman by far. He's got the look, stature and charisma. The best bat costume too. Just that he never had the chance to fully play Batman in his own film to really shine, and sadly now he never will.

Totally called it re: Ben stepping away from The Batman a few years back:

He's split up with Jennifer Garner for good, had the complete and utter failure of Live by Night to contend with and he completed a stint in rehab in March. Them's are facts, and on top of that I think the burden of being Blockbuster Ben again is a distraction he doesn't need so yeah, if he plays Batman again I'll be surprised.
