I reckon that that's the digital launch date of Rise of Skywalker and they'll release it day one.

I'm giving serious consideration to getting this myself in March, one reason being that i came to the conclusion that i'm paying out for Netflix every month alongside Amazon Prime, and i'm just not using the former enough to justify it. Sure, Netflix produce some great stuff like The Irishman and Triple Frontier, but most of the film's on there i have little interest in. And Disney Plus is half the cost!

Still keeping Netflix. Netflix going out of business is a bad thing.

The Hulu no ads bundle does not work. I have been on the phone with Hulu and Disney and it is the blame game from both sides. They bungled it once again.

A TV promo for Disney+ is now currently airing in the UK.

I saw it being aired earlier tonight in-between ad breaks for The National Television Awards on ITV London HD.

The ad does not include it's specific release date for the UK. However; it does mention that it will be available there & streamable from March.

I just dropped Disney +. The selection is tiny and except for about 10 20th Century Fox (not inc. Star wars) films nothing. Surprised even my grandkids dont like Disney with a couple of exceptions. When more films are available maybe I'll go back.
Their not into new 4ks blurays so Im losing hope of the complete Planet of the apes (1968-73) 4k hdr discs even though I was told all were done 2-3 years ago. John.

Why is Disney Plus removing some of it's content? That's what I like to know, because it's causing some backlash by subscribers.

Existing licensing agreements set in place well before Disney+ was announced. Most of the things that have been removed in the past have reappeared after a few weeks.

Anyone with a physical copy of Dumbo to verify the removed scenes with the crows?

Oh my God, that article is wrong. I checked Dumbo myself on Disney+ in the US:

1. Drunk scene is still there.
2. Crow scene is still there. Even the cigar.

Matter of fact, the crows are a major part of the final act. They can’t be removed or trimmed without completely changing the final act.

Its the exact same version on the Blu-ray and MA digital copies. The live action version of Dumbo does not have the crows because the live action version focuses on the human side of the story.

Hey, off-topic question, are the black crows still in Dumbo?

Thanks in advance!

For what I paid, it's been great. 3 years $140.

Been checking out some shows I've never seen before.

Star Wars Rebels
Ultimate Spiderman
Inhumans

No, it's a good thing. They're so greedy charging $12.99 a month. They even refuse to lower it despite competitors like Hulu and Disney+ having lower prices. They think they're so great that they don't have to lower their rates, especially when their content selection is far less than what it used to be.

The only reason Disney+ is lower in price is because they are playing catch-up and are trying to maximize the number of customers they have. Once they have gotten close to their customer ceiling, they will be raising prices too.

Why would I subscribe to D+ if what they offer in original content is garbage like Noelle, Sneakerella and that president thing? I already own most of their catalog on Blu-ray. Disney needs to step up to more quality production than what they put on the Disney Channel, otherwise they are going to fail. Especially when HBO Max launches.

What original content does HBO Max offers?

Disney+ offers a handful of movies and TV series. AppleTV offers a handful of TV shows. Peacock will offer a handful of TV shows.

HBO Max has yet to announce their full original content slate.
