Hit a mother lode at my usual best store which had nothing but leftovers yesterday. Probably could have covered the entire IOTW table two deep. I moved a few white boxes worth under the table just so I could go through everything and there was still stuff stacked on top. Still probably 80-90% DVD's. The British box set is super heavy, but I passed on that, Sherlock, 3 Stooges, and WW1. Also saw a couple of copies of the Batman thing with the lego figure.

Ultimately all I got was Night Moves and Heroes Season 3 (never saw Season 2 and wasn't crazy about Season 1, so I don't know what I was thinking except, wow, what a deal!). Didn't see The Reader, Nocturnal Animals, Terminator 3, Sleight, Copper, or Spies of Warsaw, which I would have gotten. Will try more stores tomorrow.

Saw a few copies of this Gravitas title, but did not get it. Haven't seen it mentioned. The movies goes by Alpha Gateway or just The Gateway:

I was extremely surprised to see Revolution Season 1 and Community Season 3 at DT. I wasn't expecting it at all. Especially since neither was previously mentioned by anyone in the thread from this wave.

I checked 9 stores. 1 store had movies as the IOTW and looked like they put them out today. Another store had them as the IOTW, and while there were maybe 50 movies, it wasn't nearly as many. A third had them as the IOTW too, but had put them out Monday or Tuesday, and didn't re-stock.

The other 6 stores had them in Electronics. In some cases it looked like maybe they got in another box or two, though in one store they left them in the shipping boxes and there were close to two dozen.

What I saw that's definitely already in the Master List:

Arthur Newman
Bounty Killer
Brawler
Copper S1 w/slip
An Empress and the Warriors
Entourage
Focus
Frank & Lola
Her w/slip
Heroes S3
Inherit Vice
Journey into Space
The Monkey King
Ninja Assassin
Recoil
Rockaway
Run All Night
Sharknado 2
Sinbad S1 w/slip
Song One
SS-GB
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
TMNT III
Thompsons
300
Transcendence
Veronica Mars

Also some Hunger Games, but I have them all and they've already been reported, so I ignored them.

Still, the vast majority of the inventory was DVD's, and when there were Blu's then they were often only 1-2 copies.
What 15 titles are you looking from previous waves?

Found Training Day and The Big Short on Blu today so it was worth the trip.

Also picked up McMillan & Wife: Season One and The Mod Squad: The Complete Season One (26 episodes).

Did they have multiple copies of these titles or just one copy?

I doubt it's a common title. I've seen various anime titles floating around from time to time (but always just outliers). I passed on some huge 4 disc set a couple of sales back as I didn't know anything about it. I grabbed the Shonen Jump set for another poster who asked for me to check for anime titles.

Selection was pretty meh today, and the Moorestown store that put out their batch early already sold about half of the new stuff. Seems people are catching on around here.

Random one-offs spotted:

Blu-ray:
Batman vs Robin
Distorted (2018)

DVD:
Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency S1
30 Rock S3

Last 3 stores for the day. One had a small selection up front while the other 2 had new and old stuff mixed. SMH. Picked up Ingrid Goes West on DVD.

So pissed at the movie "recycling" going on. I get it, but **** that shit.

It was the lone copy for me out of 3 stores I went to. I was super glad to find it though. Best of luck and I hope you find it!!

didn't find OJ yet either, it's a truly great documentary, definitely worth owning.
I'm in the PNW So I guess yeah... maybe.

Thanks for the note about OJ. I think I'm gonna watch it sometime this weekend or next weekend!

Is anyone coming across stores mixing the Holiday stock (or even just using those only) with new stuff? Several stores had like 70% of old stock mixed with some new titles.

Nope. They still have the endcaps up with the BF titles on shelves separately at my stores. However, one store -- which I have started to avidly avoid if I can -- couldn't even get a worker to discern what's "new" item of the week stock and what's the old BF movies/TV stock.

Hit up 3 stores today, the last store had nothing out, no sign, just old movies in the Electronics section from last wave.

I ended up with the following:

Blu-ray
Halo: The Fall of Reach
Don't Kill It
Warning Shot
Dark Was the Night
Howard Lovecraft and the Undersea Kingdom
Night Moves
Sinbad: Season 1
The Thompsons
The Recall/Nine Lives Double Feature

DVD
My Boy Jack
DC Super Hero Girls: Intergalactic Games
The Royal Wedding 2-Pack
Superman/Batman Double Feature (Public Enemies & Apocalypse)
Superman Triple Feature (A Little Piece of Home/Braniac Attacks/The Last Son of Krypton)
Death Race 2050
LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Gotham City Breakout (with LEGO Nightwing minifigure)
Sharpe: Season 2
Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency: Season 1
The Bill Cosby Show: Season 1
Patrick (Synapse release) - only copy I saw
Blade: Animated Series
Teddy Roosevelt Box Set
Best of British Box Set

Would like to find Copper along with All Star Superman and Justice League: Throne of Atlantis. But I'm happy with this hall.

Didn't see a ton of duplicates at either store, the most was The Thompsons probably 5-6 at the two stores I found stuff at. Everything else was 1-3 copies. Lots of 1 off stuff.

TBF, they probably don't even bother to check the movie inventory. They just stock and leave.

But yeah, I've seen some endcaps, but for the most part these stores are mixing up the stock.

nice finds, would have grabbed both of those sets. any old series are always a welcomed find for me at a pawn shop or a DT. as the older physical titles start to go oop, love to get those and rip them to my NAS.
