Default Regal screens

Does anyone notice that Regal screens often have this weird thing with bright colors, especially whites, that the screen comes across as very glossy looking like you can see details of the actual screen material. Maybe I’m not explaining it correctly—does anyone else know what I’m talking about and why is this? Is it cheap materials? I’ve noticed it at different regal theaters

Yeah, I have A List because AMCs have more theaters and variety of movies here, as well as the IMAX format, but I have noticed for the non premium screens Regal is much better. The theaters are cleaned and maintained better, and all their projectors have been 4K for years now.

Though itís just a sharper look, while in some of the AMCs the image tends to be not as vivid or a bit washed out, and I havenít come across this problem. I bet it has to do with cheap or outdated screens and/or projectors.
