Understood. Also can you clarify if these TVs contain smart features? The video below states "there are no smart features on the panel itself, its just a monitor"

In the product specs sheet on your website it states that it is a smart TV using my Home Screen 4.0.

fathergll, thanks for pointing this out! My .pdf is incorrect and I'll fix it in the morning.

We draw our GZ1000U inventory from Panasonic's Hollywood studio and post production supply and they do not have Smart apps. That's one reason why we gift our GZ1000U clients with Panasonic's UB820 4K HDR Blu-ray player/Network Smart streaming device.

I have not seen Sony's 2021 A90J Master Series OLED TV in person. I am looking forward to getting our first allocation and comparing the A90J to LG's 2021 G1 Gallery Series OLED and Panasonic's OLED displays.

Hey Robert, what does delivery include from your store? Do you just deliver to the door or do you have someone bring the TV into the house, unbox, assemble, place on existing TV stand, and make sure everything works?

Our residential delivery service includes the optional lift gate and delivery inside your home so the TV is not left on the curb. The shipment is fully insured.

White Glove service is not available as COVID rules restricts a second person in the cab and work inside your home.

These TVs are specially built for Hollywood studios and post production companies. The very best OLED panels are hand selected for these Hollywood client reference displays. On the 10+ we have seen these Panasonic OLED displays are all the best we have ever seen.

They have Panasonic's 1 year warranty and we offer a 3 year extended warranty.

Imagine how competitive this years VE Shootout will be with the Panasonic vs the newer Sony and LG.

Good to know. I will most likely be upgrading to 4K over the summer so it's good to have options.

When will Robert start importing these? Just curious.

We don't import any Panasonic OLED TVs, our Panasonic OLED displays come from the specially built Hollywood studios and post production inventory that are in Panasonic's professional display stock in the USA.

The specially built Hollywood client reference OLED displays are always one year behind the other countries models as these are thoroughly tested and evaluated by Hollywood color scientists and the processors are tuned to their specifications.

So these specially built Panasonic OLED displays are not the same that are mass produced and do not have the dimming ABL circuit, delivery a very detailed and beautiful dynamic tonal range and the OLED panels are hand selected to have the best screen uniformity and no tinting.

The current Panasonic OLED display used by Hollywood studios and post production companies and where we draw our inventory are the GZ1000U series.

Some articles are implying the JZ2000 may be available in the US this year. I saw one article saying they would probably only be available at specialty retailers like yours. Any truth to this?

I ask Panasonic's management frequently, but they have not agreed to bring in the mass produced JZ2000 to the US.

Don't count us out yet as I'm persistent in my requests for Panasonic to get back into the US with their exceptional OLED TVs.

I've asked Panasonic to give my company access to the Hollywood professional OLED displays since 2017 and just three weeks ago they authorized our company. These specially built Panasonic GZ1000U OLED displays are stunning to see in person.

Up until last year Canadians had full access to Panasonic LEDs and OLEDs via the Panasonic Canada eStore as well as several Canadian retailers. Up until a few months ago you could still find some stock of OLEDs left at the online retailers here who sold them, but even the first Canadian retailer to bring OLEDs to the market with the 2017 models (EZ950/EZ1000) now only carries Sony (BayBloorRadio) OLEDs and 2001 Audio Video now only shows LG's models.

I would almost bet my entire Coinbase wallet that outside of VE you will never see any Panasonic TVs sold to consumers in North America.

We (PCI employees) got official confirmation of the exit from Canada on March 10 2020, noting that "our presence in specialty AV retail will continue within the audio and headphone categories". They didn't leave Canada after three years (EZ/FZ/GZ) with no presence in US at all outside of Hollywood to then launch in the US in any shape or form. If you have the opportunity to procure one from Robert, seize it.

I wonder if we'll even see a new UHD player this year?

I don't see any frame skipping and I can only assume this was fixed when the Hollywood color scientists testing the GZ1000U and got Panasonic engineers to fix this defect in the special processor tuning.

I'l be doing some more advanced tests for motion resolution and frame skipping and I'll report back in the next week or two.
