If they were official releases, Cursed would probably be cropped to 1.78:1.

Only recent releases worth noting these past weeks are Darkness Falls and The Crow: Salvation.

Darkness Falls' only other release is OOP and while Salvation did get other releases overseas, they are either OOP or possibly region locked.

Has anyone picked up the Spanish release of Danger Diabolik? I assume it is a bd-r of the Shout! release, am I right?

Amazon Spain sells Llamentol releases. They seem to be stripped-down versions of other releases, no-frills with fewer audio and specially subtitle options. Since they are based in Catalonia, they add in Catalan to the list and take out English subtitles, which is downright stupid if you ask me. The more, the merrier.

Still not licensed from the rightful owners which makes these releases pirate releases. They make use of legal loopholes to get away with this practise, thus why they are sold through Amazon Spain. Still doesn't make it right. They make money on other peoples' hard work who sees none of it.

The consensus I'm getting here is that, because they're the only ones who offer said content the customers don't mind buying it, but... It's still pirated copies!

Shame on Amazon and other retailers in Spain and neighborhood countries (i.e. Portugal & Andorra) for keeping pirated stock.

My heart bleeds, honestly. Maybe the copyright owners should actually release them if they wanna make money. Otherwise, tough titties, frankly!

It's not technically illegal in Spain due to differences in their copyright law. These 'bootleg' companies have offices and websites and social media presences, and they operate visibly in the public eye with their names attached to their "work." Amazon doesn't care to police ethics, they just follow the laws of the territories they operate in - and these products are sold in compliance with the law.

The Dolph Lundgren film JOSHUA TREE is available in Spain. Does anybody know if it is the unrated or R rated version?
