L.A. Confidential now has a commentary track, music only track and another 3 hours of extras (or there abouts).

I don't when it was released exactly but is listed under recently added.

Does anyone think we'll ever get iTunes Extras for TV shows?

Some already bonus features of one sort or another but I mean TV seasons (or even complete series) with a menu system containing access to seasons, episodes and bonus content.

Is that something anyone here would like?

I’d love it, and I hope it happens. Just in case that does happen, I’ll probably only buy TV shows on iTunes in the future, just like movies for the most part.

Game of Thrones or The X-Files - The Complete Series

One menu that branches out to other menus for each season that themselves contain sub sections for the extras.

I'd also like it if Apple made the Purchased section of the AppleTV movie app a little customisable being able to group movies into playlists so we could have the Marvel, Star Wars, etc. in the correct viewing order, etc.

Is that possible or just something that could not be done?

This could be old news but Master and Commander has iTunes Extras now - seems to be everything that was on the original DVD.

I bought the film two years ago on the US store for $5 and there was no extras. Upgraded for free - which is nice.

Has anyone here lost iTunes Extras before?

I have Elysium, Thor and Captain America The First Avenger and the Extras are gone - Apple support told the relevant studios removed the originals and re-added them to the Store as new items and there was nothing to be done to rectify it.

Yeah it happened to me with CA and Thor but my Disney Movies Anywhere still has the extras.

Did you contact iTunes support?

I'm not entirely confident that I was getting support agents who understood the problem so I'd be interested in what other people were told.

I haven't but I think I will right now

Update:
So I reached out, even was able to pull up my order number from 2015 but they kept saying it wasn't showing as iTunes extras on their end. They then provided me with a new set of codes with required a disc (i will have to use the workaround) and i'm very certain I'm going to have the same result. I don't think he understood what I was saying and kept thinking iTunes extra as a download.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have the commentary tracks accessible from the Audio section of the drop down box?

American Gods season 1 on iTunes has all the video extras created for the upcoming Blu-ray including the new 2.5hr documentary.

What are Sony like for adding iTunes Extras to their back catalogue?

Have they ever done it?

Been waiting a long time for The Mask of Zorro to get the extras from the original DVD. It was my first DVD purchase and remains one of the best discs ever released.

They've done it before but there is no guarantee that the one you bought will get them. Its the weird way Sony does digital releases.

Fox strikes again..From Hell commentary and trivia track have been added. Wish I picked this up when it was $5
