Up there with Pacific Rim and GotG
That's strong praise for the 3D!

You're making me want to revisit this.

Hi Rocky,

Comparing anything to Pacific Rim is high praise indeed.

Kong is one of the most all-around solid 3D movies in my collection.

Just watched Mockingjay part two.

Best of the four film series. Very strong 3D depth although no real pop outs. Didn't really matter since the 3D was very enjoyable.. it's only region B.

The film is fun but the 3D is excellent well worth picking a copy up.

Iíve recently watched Thor, Thor: The Dark World, Iron Man 3, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Iron Man 3 is the only MCU film I donít like watching in 3D. This was my second viewing and I switched to the 2D disc after watching it in 3D for about 14 minutes. On my TV, the picture quality isnít crisp and is just overall very poor looking with ghosting. Especially in darker scenes. The 3D itself is very mild, so itís just not worth it to me to watch in 3D. I enjoy the movie in general.

The other MCU films all looked great.

I bought Static from Best Buy and have Into The Spider-Verse and Mortal Engines on the way from Amazon UK & Amazon Germany.

Filmbuff, I'm the same on Iron man 3. I even watch the first Thor now only in 2D because the 3D just doesn't do it for me on that one.

Had some eBay bucks so applied them to Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs.

Saw it on HBO 3D demand. A nice story and the 3D looked great. And that was with side by side and my anaglyph 3D video wizard hooked up to a standard HD 38 inch set. Know it will be even stronger on Blu-ray and 3D monitor.

I found a second hand copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for $10 just now. Blind buy. Really stoked to find a used 3DBD! Wonder which other titles are most likely to be found used out there?

Just watched Amittyville 3D. Really good 3D but as typical with 80s presentations, it was accompanied by the problem trying to overdo it with how far pop outs could jump out of the screen. Too many caused double vision. But there were many to enjoy.

As far as the movie, typical. No plot, no beginning and no end. Who was going to croak first? But that didn't bother me much because it was the 3D that I was really into.
