Since we have a huge amount of movie geeks on this board, it's great to have one central thread where everyone can ask about a movie they can't figure out.

Saw this gif and I'm curious as to what movie it's from. Anyone got any clue?

As a warning....the gif shows a guy ripping the skin off his face....watch if you have a strong stomach...

I know the movie. I saw it I think its late 70's mid 80's. The story was about a cop looking for a criminal who developed a highly destructive weapon that makes people's skin melt and strip the body of its organs down to the bones. However, I really don't know the name of the movie unfortunately.

PS. This may be a completely different movie though.

If memory serves, thats The Fly II. It's the aftermath of "Son of Brundlefly doing the acid puke gag on an unlucky security guard's face.

When the body hits the floor, I think you can see the left side of one of the tele-pods (I think I had that image on a centerfold poster from one of the early issuse of Gorezone....or a Fangoria poster issue back when I was a kid).

The reason I think you are right is because you reminded me of the scene. I just saw the movie recently. Don't know why I missed it.

Cuz face meltings weren't a new gag, even when this flick was made. It's still rather impressive.
