Hello all,

This one has been bothering me for weeks and I'm not even sure if it is a movie or TV show or what:

Somebody owns a small turtle and someone else (old, senile, or blind) mentions eating a really hard sandwich (which turns out to have been the turtle. It is a comedy, of course. This is really all I can remember.

somewhere begin 2000's I watched a film on BBC. Its about a young woman wich is stuck (?) in a flat appartment, and she never goes out. It has something to do with her mental well being. She has a male friend wich visits her every other day. The whole film the camera never leaves her flat, and its very neo noir filmed. Im guessing it was made around the 90's, maybe end of the 80's?

Turns out it was a Norm Macdonald bit and not a movie at all.

A friend of mind recently described a movie (that he's only seen part of) that involved a group of people starting blankly up at nothing until it's revealed that they all have eye/brain implants of some sort. Apparently that's only a small part of the movie, so not sure if it's sci-fi or not, but he thinks it's from the 80s or 90s. Any ideas?

I wonder if someone can help with this 70s or 80s film (could have been a TV movie). Either way it was relatively low budget.

It is set on board a ship where some sort of infection is breaking out. On board are a couple of (Mexican?) stoways in the hold and one of them is ill with it. But he recovers before the ship reaches America while his companion falls ill. The recovered one makes it to the mainland by swimming away as the ship docks but is later tracked down to provide serum for a vaccine.

Can someone help?

This bothers me, I want to say its a Children of the Corn film but not sure.

All I can remember is a black guy in a cornfied, I think, and slowly his neck just starts getting longer and his eyes turn white.

I think the film is from the mid to late 90's.

There’s a scene like that in Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest. The guy gets attacked by vines in a cornfield, and they pull his head off. The vines hold the head up, and his spine hangs down from the head.

The only scene I remember is: some soldiers threaten to throw a blindfolded guy out of a helicopter but they're just trying to scare him, cause the helicopter is parked (lol). Actually I dont remember anything else (to be honest I dont even know if that movie exists or if its something my mind made up). Any ideas?

I think it’s ‘The Gods Must Be Crazy’.

It's some space sci-fi movie from probably 60s-70s and I vaguely remember only one scene. Group of astronauts wearing space suits is wandering in some snowy labyrinth, I think. I don't know if it's a US or European movie.

So there's this horror movie I found out about a couple weeks ago and the name promptly fled me. From what I recall it's about these weird apparitions showing up in town (an east coast one I think) and following the main character(s) around. The premise struck me like It Follows and Carnival of Souls. Imagery kinda reminded me of the latter, and Phantasm. It's not Sole Survivor.

It's from the 70s or 80s, American, I can remember that much. There's a Blu-ray but it's OOP.

First thing that comes to mind is Messiah of Evil, although it took place in a California town, not an east coast one.

Wish I noticed this thread earlier!

Anyone remember a film where a man swimming in a public swimming pool is handcuffed to the bottom of the pool by a unseen killer?

I remember seeing this in the early to mid 80s as a kid. I'd love to know what film this was.
