Does Camera flash damage a blu-ray disc - Blu-ray Forum

Probably a stupid question but I was wondering if the flash on the camera can damage a blu-ray disc and cause the data to become unreadable?

Only reason I am asking is because I was taking pictures of the data side of a blu-ray disc using my camera flash to try and get pictures of the scratches on it.

No a camera flash won't mess up a Blu-ray disc.
