Question When did you first watch your now favorite film?

I first watched my fav film Mulholland Dr. in 2008ish....around 7 almost 8 years after its original release. Been addicted ever since!! Big fan of Watts and Lynch now too.

The first time I watched Evil Dead (2013) was a rental from redbox. Loved it so much that I ended up watching it back-to-back.

My most watched movie at minimum 25x.

I've always said that Being There was my favorite film, but I'm not sure that's really true anymore. If it is still my favorite, I saw it on HBO in the early 1980s. It was the version with the blooper reel of Sellers blowing his lines a dozen times under the end credits.

I first watched Makoto Shinkai's Your Name in March of 2020 and didn't find it to be my favourite until the second time I watched it around a few months later.

Sorry, can't narrow it to one.....

War of the Worlds (original)
Planet of the Vampires
Forbidden Planet

All were a very, very, long time ago on Saturday afternoons, probably on the WUAB 43 Superhost show.

Re-watching them, and all other movies previously seen on analog TVs is a revelation on blu-ray, especially projected on my theater room screen!
