So say you have 500 DVD's in your collection, is there an easy way to tell if a upgrade of a dvd to bluray or 4k is available? Still learning how the site works.

I am new, or newly "Official": been using the site to check releases and choose which one to buy for a good while. I'm a rabid collector of DVD/BR and have recently topped 2000, I run a review/discussion channel on Youtube called Horror and metal maestro redrusty66. Enjoy the site and often use it to choose which release is acceptable to me if a film has multiple releases, very informative.

I do have a question though.
Does anyone know where to find the companies you've become a fan of? Let's say I become a fan of Unearthed Films, is there a place or link where I can see a list of the companies I've become a fan of?

Hi Everyone. Newbie to the Forum here. My name's Lady Palloni. A 45 year old Autistic American woman, now living in South East England, with around 4000 films on DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K discs, from all over the globe (as I'm multi-regional for everything).

I specifically love World Cinema (non-English stuff) the most. I try to go to the cinema every week, as well, which is sometimes easier said than done.

I've only just joined, and been approved, so I hope people will be gentle with me, as I learn the ropes around here. A pleasure to meet you all, and I hope we can all enjoy some fun discussions.

P.S. Being Autistic means I tend to write - a lot. Sincere apologies if that bugs people. I just can't really do short-and-sweet, I'm afraid.

Hello everyone. I was a longtime visitor and finally joined up. Just upgraded my TV to a 4k oled, so figured it was time to join. Not that much of a collector; trying to be super cheap and not go crazy with new releases, criterions, etc.

I'm new here my blu-ray/4k collection started to grow quickly in the past few years and wanted to find a way to catalog them and also find a way to find deals and info on new releases.

Blu-ray.com seemed to be the place for me and i found out they have an app that i quickly downloaded and began to catalog my entire collection. After completing the cataloging process i discovered that the app has not been updated in 2 years?

I have tried a few other cataloging apps but the blu-ray.com one seems to be the best option to browse amazon deals (i almost only use amazon to buy movies from so i can easily return things) although, the app is great there are a few things i would like to be updated (dark mode, better barcode scanning options) but if the app has not been updated in 2 years its worries me that no changes/updates will ever come.

Is the app no longer supported? Does anyone know of any incoming updates or changes?

Hello gang- Glad to be here! Age 53, longtime movie lover and need to get serious finally. Just starting my collection, all Blu ray mostly. My equip is a bit spare for the time being featuring a 46 " LG Tv ( not 4k) and a Vizio sound bar. My collection I plan on amassing is probably going to be about 150 movies that are important to ME.meaning I do not plan on getting movies just to get them so to speak. My question is what would you have Wished someone told you when first started collecting? Here is a list of Target Blu rays to start with.

Being a relative newbie myself, I am going the opposite route. I am buying some things that are my favorites for re-viewing, but I am trying to put my finger in the scale for movies I "should have" seen, but never got around to, the "classics".

Still, I have gotten some of my faves in 4k this past month, which is my other factor--movies I love getting 4k releases. So, just now, I bought The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence because it was on sale and on 4k, as well as Nashville on bluray (which I've never seen), and The Court Jester (which I've never seen in HD).

Hi everyone. Started to get my movies out of boxes and start collecting with my son.

Have been a long time lurker of the site but recently signed up to utilise the mobile app to track my collection. Couple of questions specifically around boxsets

1. On the website I can see “all” my movies in the collection e.g. Bourne collection I can see each movie expanded. It appears this view isn’t possible in the mobile app? Do people add the individual titles to workaround this?
2. On a similar note, marking individual movies from a boxset as watched - do people use the same workaround?
