Adding a title to the database?

I'm junior member now and I'm still not able to add anything nor do I see the links from evils post.

Anyone have feelings on adding rental movies to the database? I have lots of rentals with different UPCs.

I add mine, some have different audio and less extras so it's handy for members to know if they see a cheap bargain. Just make sure to label them Rental Copy or whatever they say on the cover.

The options to edit movies is missing from my account too, it used to be there.

How many posts do you need to be able to add titles and start new forum threads? I've looked quite a few places, and still haven't found the answer.

I believe you need to make 10 posts before you can start new threads. Not sure of the requirement before you can submit titles to the database.

So this is interesting... as a new member at the beginning of last month, I couldn't add titles et al. But after a few posts (3, not 10) and additional activity such as adding my collection, rating some movies, setting up my forum profile, etc, and some PATIENCE, well - somehow after a couple weeks I had access to add titles. SO, I added a few, and they processed correctly by the end of the month. Yay!
BUT, ...it's been about two weeks since then, and now I've got another title to add - and the links have disappeared again! LOL.
Not sure what all this means, but as I'm still shy of 10 posts, I guess I'll add a few more posts to see if that brings it back.

Today I try to upload a titiles in our best database but send me this error:

You must be logged in/registered member to submit data. Registration is fast and easy.

You know what ca I do to make this possible ???

By the way I already a member about 3 years ...

Would be very interesting to see some official information about this. Did not find anything... I am sitting on a number of (German) DVDs and box-sets which I cannot add to my library as it is not inside the database. But I also cannot add these titles for everyone's benefit.

Yes, go under any release and if you add the new data for your new entry it is totally unrelated to the entry you clicked the button under... I do agree it's a bit of an odd way to implement it but even if you mess up it is reviewed by the site Admins so relax

For anyone with problems still I'd contact an admin directly (don't worry, they're quite friendly) as I have never had any difficulty so it could just be a technical glitch.
