The next game I hope is something more original or maybe they'll go back to Vive City and make a more modern day version of the story much like GTA V tried to with San Andreas

I'll take anything they offer.

If they can do a VR-mode version, that would be sweet :P

A different country would be good, albeit highly unlikely. I know Tokyo, Japan had been considered before but was scrapped, but it sure would have been cool to see an entirely new location with a different culture, different vehicles and everything else that goes along with it. I think something like Seoul and its surrounding areas would be so cool. Such a beautiful and exciting city and culture.

If they do stick to a fictional city within the USA, Chicago or Detroit would be interesting. It'd be awesome to see some real snow in a GTA game.

Personally I would love a female main protaganist, just to freshen things up a bit. One of my favorite things about Fallout 4 was as a female character I was playing a housewife/mother, and not some super soldier like every other game.

It gave the game a unique feel to it, even though a short while later I was duking it out like a supersoldier anyways lol

I'd love to see a GTA set in the far east but feel that Sleeping Dogs and Yakuza kind of gave us those types of things and maybe it's time Rockstar went back to a European setting. GTA London hasn't been done in ages and was in 2D and I'd like to maybe see them return for a modern day take on it.

Maybe they'll surprise us though and make something that feels a little fresh again. One thing is certain though, and that's that they are already working on it and the only thing we can hope for is that it surpasses GTA V because that was a pretty awesome game to play

They should finally have an airport in this one that actually takes you to a different country.

I would actually love to see them remaster that game and also make a sequel but only if it is as good as or better than the first.

This is way out there, but what if they did one on Mars? Its set in the future and something like the original Total Recall. You could go even further and bounce from planet to planet. It would be something completely different with unlimited possibilities.

VR would be cool for FPView. Rockstar tends to avoid gadget implementation, but if it could work with the VR, that would be nice for PSVR sales.

I'd like to see this happen. Japan, Chicago (Watch Dogs nailed the Chicago setting), Detroit and snowfall as we saw in GTAV's unique missions in the countryside. I was trying to go offroad to explore in that mission but it resets the player to the road.

That would be a cool 3rd player, agreed.

That would be far out. Maybe a DLC they could get away with it.

I'd love a GTA that had a cheat code on consoles that let gamers explore a post apocalyptic city or just an option to add back the chase mode where pedestrians chase the player. Not sure why they got rid of that cheat from GTAIII, San Andreas.

Although I've finished the main missions, I've still got loads to do so I really have no interest in another GTA game. I'd rather they did something else, I mean, really, what else is there that they haven't already done?

Never played RDR, so I'd love a PS4 follow up to that

A lot of the appeal in a new GTA would be what new city the game would be based on. Hopefully they don't repeat any of the cities we've already seen before but offer something new as others have suggested above.

Imagine a GTA game set in the distant future?

Having recently watched the red read redemption short, I would rather have another red dead than GTA. I love westerns and red dead is one of my top favorites of all time.

Pretty sure we'll see Red Dead 2 before the next GTAVI. The land of Red Dead, awesome graphics and variety, forest, town, plains, cliffs, desert.
Just hope they vary up the missions more.
