Default Projection screen paint

Hello,

Im moving to a new place and I wasn't able to bring my old retractable screen. I'm thinking of just using the wall as a projection screen this time around. Is there a paint that you guys would recommend for projection screens
For reference my projector is an Epson 5030

Thank you in advance

Never used it myself, but this stuff looks to be good.

I used screen goo. Put it in about 8-9 years ago off suggestion of a coworker who had it for years and after doing some research then. I liked it, and I admit I am a crappy painter (my wife painted every room except the man cave since she says I can't paint). I did go overboard on primer (they suggested 2 coats, I did about 10).

Default Cheap movie screen Paing

Hi, please don't laugh but I had the same issue as you in needing a quick and inexpensive screen for my projector. I went to the local HD and asked one of the people at the paint desk to mix me up the "most white and flattest" paint possible. She obliged and I went home to install it. I taped off an area 6' wide and 3 feet tall. Much to my horror when I applied it the finish was all sorts of sparkly! I almost returned the paint when I decided to wait to see what it looked like after it dried. The next morning I checked it out and it was absolutely perfect!

I know there are real fancy screen paints available but this turned out great.
Just my 2 cents.
