It looked like they just given up when Brock Purdy was brought back in without any intention to pass. There's no way they're gonna come from 14 points down, much less 21, just running the ball, when the defense knows they can't throw. What was Shanahan thinking?

And to come into a game with only two serviceable quarterbacks, against the number one pass rated defense in the league, and sacks by a large margin, is very risky. Wasn't there anyone that they could sign as a third QB? Just a complete ****** by san francisco.
