Agree with all comments on Song of the South; and Nemo is a glaring weakness in the Pixar spoiler. At least the Bays make sources of Song of the South available now (during our lifetimes).

my biggest pipe dream (aside from Disney releasing it themselves) is for them to let Criterion release it

After all those titles, the three movie I'm still waiting for is:

- The Hunchback of Notre Dame
- Hercules
- Robin Hood

Come one Disney! You gave me my top 4 movies (Lion King; Beauty & the Beast; Pocahontas; Treasure Planet) and some other beautiful ones. Now please give me those!

The Lion King and Beauty & the Beast have already been released. Treasure Planet has a release date and Pocahontas is coming in the next year.

"The Richest Cat in the World" was released a few months ago as a platinum series 3 disk special edition. The steelbook case was beautiful. Hurry, it's going back in the vault soon.

Rumor has it that Disney is ready to bump "The Little Mermaid" to make way for a similar special edition of "Stub-The Best Cow Dog in the West", but not before a theatrical release in 3D.

At least disney can release Song of the south, i mean they did a full out restoration a little while ago. At least it will be there if they actually want to re-release it.

All available on Disney's archive-experiment Generations DVD label (and Amazon), although to say it's released without fanfare is putting it mildly:

All former/current Disney Movie Club Exclusive titles available as Disney Movie Rewards prizes:
http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com...e/category/dvd

(As for which Club Exclusive DVD's have since been "paroled" to general retail, like Treasure of Matecumbe, Benji: the Hunted and Donald in Mathmagic Land--and whether they can still be found on Amazon--someone more experienced with the club will have to answer. I can't keep up with them every year.)

Welcome to the new Warner Archive era: If you want your rarities on DVD, you have to LOOK for them.

Yes I knew some of those were either released in the past, or manufactured on demand (available at Amazon). I was just saying that I would, in a perfect world, love to have them all on Blu Ray.

I have quite a few of those I listed on DVD--including the rare ones. I have all of the Walt Disney Treasures series, and wish they would release more of them. I would especially love a volume of the Ludwig Von Drake shorts.

Is Monster's Inc. OOP? Amazon only has it through third party sellers.

not as far as I know, although they may quietly be putting it OOP for a 3D combo pack

This is great for the animated films, but does anybody know of a list of the non-animated films? I'm trying to figure out what all I'm missing from my collection.

Either way, nice list.

thanks. the only reason I'm not going to mark it OOP is that there is going to be a reissue soon, and after that an inevitable 3D version

I didn't know Monsters Inc. was getting a reissue? Do you know the details of it? I don't own it on blu-ray so I can't wait
